Printer driver for Mac

Nowadays, most manufacturers make PC/Mac compatiable printers.

If your printer is Mac Compatiable without any driver for Mac and
isn't recognized by Mac OS X Tiger, you should be able to download
a updated driver from the manufacturer web site.

In my case, my printer is 5 year old and works perfectly well with a
updated driver from the manufacturer web site!

First few things to do after connecting to internet

Once you get connected to the internet with your new Mac,
make sure you click the blue Apple icon,
then select System Preferences ..., under sharing Pane
choose Firewall and then click Start to start firewall as below.

Next thing you must do, again click the blue Apple icon,
and then select Software Update ... !
It will automatically update all the softwares/drivers on your new Mac,
and save your time to call Support about known issues that have been
fixed already.

I find updated softwares usually run faster!

Using Widgets to listen Live Radio

I am so glad that there is a better alternative to listen to live radio on the internet.
It is getting more radio Widgets available for the public from BBC, ABC, Montreal
Radios, ... , etc.
Just download widgets yourself and enjoy! If it doesn't work, possibly the widget
requires RealPlayer.
